Philanthro Capital Ventures was founded in 2023 by Gary Morris, a former paramedic, reserve firefighter, and California real estate broker based in Woodland Hills, CA. PCV was incorporated as a Delaware nonprofit public benefit corporation with EIN obtained and 501(c)(3) determination pending. Since founding, PCV has presented its blockchain transparency model at Permissionless II (2023), ETHDenver (2024), and TOKEN2049 Singapore (2025), where the concept received consistently positive reception from the Web3 and nonprofit communities.
